Pearl powder is a mica-based fine chemical coated with titanium dioxide and other dioxide to create various kinds of pearl luster through different angle reflection. It is named pearl powder, effect pigment, pearl pigment and etc. Being inorganic and well-dispersed, it is widely used in coating, ink, painting, plastic, cosmetic and other industries.
Pearl powder with small particle size gives an elegant pearl luster to any coating. Like the picture showing, smooth silk-like coating on the conditionaries. The upper one is an effect picture of silver white pearl powder and the other of gold satin. And pearl powder with bigger particle size creates shinning luster, sometimes sparkling in the light.
